How to Set-Up the Requisitioning Procedure

Any firm big or small uses tools, equipment and materials to carry on their business whether for administration or operational purposes. The form is then submitted to the Purchasing Department who in turn will search for at least three suppliers who are able to supply the item based on the specification and samples provided. The purchasing agent shows the samples to the requesting department and if a supplier is chosen will then send the form to the purchasing department to finalize the paperwork to order. The order form will then be submitted by the purchasing department to the finance department. The Financial Controller checks availability of funds and back-up paper works and if everything seems to be justifiable will sign the order. The Finance department endorses it to the General Manager/ Owner for his information and approves it if the latter finds it necessary since after all he is the primary decision maker of the company.
